Try simplifying the chain, and add in one variable item at a time. Mismatched sampling rates will produce garbled sound out. It you document all of those connections, it’ll be easier to figure out what might need adjusting. It would help troubleshoot if we know the model of mic, how it’s connected (USB, mic input Jack, etc). Make sure everything that can be configured is set the same, such as bit rate, etc. You need to follow the “audio chain” from your microphone into OBS, out of OBS into your virtual audio, into Zoom. Find Google Chrome in the list of apps, and select your speakers as the outputĥ.It’s pretty difficult to diagnose something like this without being “live”, but here’s a few things to check:. Click the "App Volume And Device Preferences" option. Scroll to the "Other Sound Options" section. Right click on the audio icon in the taskbar (bottom-right) & choose "Open Sound settings". Exclude your Web Browser from Virtual Cable (send it directly to your speakers) Click the "Listen to this device" checkbox & select your headset/speakersĤ. Double click on the Virtual Cable to open it's Properties. Go to the "Recording" tab of the Sounds preferences. Send Virtual Cable output to your speakers Right click on it and choose "Set as default device"ģ. On the Playback tab, find the Virtual Cable. Right click on the audio icon in the taskbar (bottom-right corner) and choose "Sounds".

If not, try restarting your computer after installation.Ģ.
After installing, you should see Virtual Cable as an Output Device in the Sound preferences. You might need to right-click and "Run as administrator". Download and install VB-Audio Virtual Cable To avoid this problem, you need to install a special tool that lets you choose which individual applications are captured and broadcast by OBS. This creates problems when you guest, because your guests will hear themselves. When you use OBS, your computer's audio is captured and shared in your broadcast.
